			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Hey  there Coastal Benders! Looking for something to do this weekend?  Thursday the 2nd of September offers a variety of opportunities for you  and your friends and family to go out. There’s a Corpus Christi Hooks  game that night, Ryan Beaver will be performing at the Executive Surf  Club, and there will a chance to enjoy Open Jam Thursdays with  Bushbullit (Southern and Classic Rock) at Rascals.</p>
<p>Friday  the 3rd, The Spazmatics will be performing at Brewster Street and  Scarlet will be at Executive Surf Club. Or you could view Elton John and  Tim Rice’s production of <em>Aida</em> at the Harbor Playhouse, you should head  out to see some of Corpus Christi’s great local talent!</p>
<p>Saturday  the 4th- it’s all about the music. Cruise Control will be rockin’ at  the Executive Surf Club. The Bay Jammin’ Concert Series will be at Cole  Park and Blue October will be at Concrete Street; be sure to get your  tickets before its too late! Also if you want to dance the night away DJ  Curtis Rock will be at Bombay Lounge and Grill.</p>
<p>Finally  Sunday the 5th, there will be karaoke at Crawdaddy’s, another Corpus  Christi Hooks baseball game, and Scarecrow People will be at the  Executive Surf Club. Any of these events would be a great way to end the  weekend!</p>
<p>Lots  of musicians to check out, sports, and theater productions. There’s a  great variety this weekend in the Coastal Bend. Visit the Flamingo Fandango at the South Texas Botanical Gardens! It&#8217;s an exciting and hilarious event, check it out this weekend! Friday night, Another Level will be at Brewster Street and Max Stalling will be at Executive Surf Club. Something special about Max Stalling&#8217;s performance is that it is also his CD release party! Also Synchronicty will be at House of Rock. Saturday night Scarecrow People will be at Executive Surf Club, Hannah&#8217;s Reef will be at Brewster Street, OR you could attend the Rialto Theater Season Preview that night! Sunday- there&#8217;s the Spikefest finals, The Peddler Show in Robstown, and at night more music! Equal People at Padre Island Burger company, The Dust Devils at the Back Porch in Port Aransas, and DJ Curtis &#8220;Rock&#8221; at Bombay Lounge &amp; Grill.  That&#8217;s all for now! 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Hey! Summer&#8217;s coming to a close, but there are tons of musicians and events going on here in the Coastal Bend this weekend, and it is early enough in the week that you can start making plans and have an awesome, exciting weekend down here by the beach!</p>
<p><strong>Thursday the 12th of August</strong>, Stoney La Rue with Sean McConnell will be playing at Brewster Street. David Martinez Band will be performing at Executive Surf Club and something exciting will be happening at Cole Park! From Executive Surf Club’s Battle of the Bands competition, the 1st and 2nd place winners will be performing for free at Cole Park to close out the summer concert series. Also that night House of Rock will be hosting a huge number of bands at their venue, the doors open at 4.</p>
<p><strong>Friday the 13th,</strong> Scarecrow People will be playing at Brewster Street, Trysum will be performing at Executive Surf Club, and at Cole Park the final movie in their free summer cinema series will be Imagine That with Eddie Murphy. House of Rock will be hosting even more bands at their venue, there is their link for followup information. www.texashouseofrock.com/</p>
<p><strong>Finally Saturday the 14th</strong>, Rotel and the Hot Tomatoes will be playing at Brewster Street, Latin Talk will be at Executive Surf Club, and Ludacris will be at the American Bank Center. During the Day the Billabong Women’s Surf Camp will be beginning. And while we are on the topic of surfing- <strong>Sunday the 15th</strong> Wind and Wave will be presenting a quicksilver video at House of Rock.</p>

You won’t find espressos or double mocha $20 lattes, but you will find wonderful fresh brewed coffee and homemade pies to top off you lunch. Breakfast and lunch specials are featured Monday-Friday.
