Weekend Wrap-Up: October 14th-17th

Hey guys, wanna hear about what’s going on this weekend?! Well…

Thursday there are several events! There is the Exhibits Opening Celebration at the Art Center of Corpus Christi, numerous artists will be revealing their art that evening. That night also, Jim Dugan, a country, folk, and southern rock performer will be at Tavern Bay. Also that night is a performance of “Back of the Throat” at the Warren Theater, located on the TAMUCC campus. Finally, Williams Riley, a country singer will also be performing at the Executive Surf Club and Rich O’Toole w/ Django Walker & Cody Johnson will be at the Brewster Street Ice House.

Friday, the 50th Annual Texas Jazz Fest will be at Heritage Park. The H2U Arts & Crafts Fair will be going on as well. Also The Student Foundation at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi invites you to its annual “Islander Revue” music and dance extravaganza, all Proceeds from sales fund student scholarships. You could catch a performance of The Rocky Horror Show at the Aurora Arts Theater! Or see Taylor Pie with Eben Wood Perform in Concert at the Corpus Christi Art Center.

Saturday, the 50th Annual Texas Jazz Fest will be continuing. KISS IT, A Kiss Tribute band will be performing at the Executive Surf Club. Finally on Saturday, Above My Enemy and more will be performing at Zero’s Hard Rock Club.

Sunday! The last day of the weekend! If you didn’t get a chance to enjoy any of these activities you’ve got more opportunities! The 50th Annual Jazz Fest will be going on and you could catch another showing of “Back of the Throat” at the Texas A&M Campus Warren Theater.
