At the heart of Corpus Christi’s downtown marina and entertainment district is this popular oasis and landmark – Water Street Market. There are numerous specialty stores and excellent restaurants, including a lovely area with benches and tables at which you can relax and people watch. You’ll find oceans of creative gift ideas, antiques, jewelry, curios, art, and women’s apparel. It is also home to the coolest little record store on the Gulf Coast, Surf Club Records. Stop for a moment at Aqua Java for a caffeine boost. While there, don’t miss the famous Texas Surf Museum with over 3000 square feet of exhibits and Gulf Coast surfing history. Free admission, can’t beat that! Enter through Surf Club Records. While at Water Street Market, dine at one of the excellent Water Street restaurants and enjoy their live entertainment .
