Padre Island National Seashore

The longest remaining undeveloped stretch of barrier island in the world and home to  the most important nesting beach in the U.S. for the endangered Kemp’s ridley sea turtle. Visitors Center has small museum, bookstore, concession stand, observation decks, restrooms and showers. Semi-primitive and primitive camping. $10 per car 7-day permit. 361-949-8068

Kelsea Yarbrough has been a resident here in the Coastal Bend, specifically Port Aransas for over 7 years. She will be attending Trinity University in San Antonio, TX in the Fall as a Freshman.
