The longest remaining undeveloped stretch of barrier island in the world and home to the most important nesting beach in the U.S. for the endangered Kemp’s ridley sea turtle. Kelsea Yarbrough has been a resident here in the Coastal Bend, specifically Port Aransas for over 7 years. She will be attending Trinity University in San Antonio, TX in the Fall as a Freshman. She graduated from Annapolis Christian Academy with honors, and is considering majoring in Literature in college. She loves spending time in downtown Corpus Christi, at the beach on Padre Island, or hanging around her hometown, Port Aransas.
